Well, I'm not sure who will read this but just in case I thought I would make an update again. I made the move to Cary and finally sold my house in Huntersville. I'm currently playing basketball in a league up here with some guys that used to play back at WCC with us and with my son, Eric and a couple guys from Campbell. I haven't been back to Concord, Huntersville, or Charlotte but once in the past year. I have talked with Charlie several times and he still has a desire to resurrect Sunday night basketball but it's hard to get all the right people in all the right places to make it all happen. Maybe one day. If I could ever get all the things to line up right, I would love to get a reunion run together back at church (if they'd let us....I imagine they might). I'd love to get down there to play ball and see all our old crew. I'll send out mass texts if that might ever comes to pass. As always, feel free to hit me up. Peace!

Until Further Notice (Update)
As of right now, I have no idea when we will play again. I have pretty much finished my move to Cary, NC. I will be back in town periodically to maintain my Huntersville house which I have not sold yet. I'm just not sure if or when I will be in on Sundays to run basketball. Check back periodically. If we're going to play, I'll let you know.
It's hard to believe that my time is pretty much over here running the Sunday night basketball at West Cabarrus Church. We've been playing ball for over 8 years and it's been a blessing to me. Not only have I had the opportunity to play the game I love and stay fit doing it, but I have made friendships/relationships that mean a lot to me. I hope that I have been able to impart some kind of wisdom or inspiration to the guys who have run up and down the court with me, hopefully something more than you can be an old dude and still "get buckets!" We've made lots of memories on Sunday nights and I'll hold on to those for the remainder of my days. I'm going to miss all of you guys terribly. So don't be a stranger. Hit me up from time to time. Peace. -Ed 704-425-1749
Update: So I got blessed by a former Sunday night baller who invited me to play ball this past week at an iconic venue.
