June 9

Okay. So the last two weeks have had a wealth of players and talent. Lots of fun. Very competitive. Almost too competitive. But I attribute that to a bunch of typical athletes competing. It's all good. Let's try to keep this thing going. We are planning on playing again this week (June 9) at 7 p.m. Keep in mind I get there at least a half hour early to move chairs and get the goals up so if you aren't busy and want to help, feel free to come a little early. As far as the way things ended last night, yes, I ended up going to the ER. The cut I sustained on my eyelid required attention. I thought they would put in stitches. They ended up GLUING the cut shut. That's a new one to me. Found this whole thing to be ironic as I had just finished talking with several of the guys about my retiring from ball later this year......before I get seriously hurt. This injury wasn't the type of thing I was talking about but still it's kind of funny. Will I play this Sunday? What do you think? -Ed
