Christmas Break

We have had some great runs lately. Thanks to all who have played. I know I really enjoy hooping it up with you guys. Due to the Christmas programs at the church and the extra equipment they are bringing in, we won't be able to play ball for the next two Sundays. We are aiming at December 30 as the next time that we play. I hope that everyone has a great Christmas and I look forward to seeing everyone shortly after that. Peace -Ed

Next Week

Not Sure

Got home from out of town but so far only have one person who can make it this Sunday night. I will keep trying to contact our regulars but unless I get at least six, we won't be playing. If you intend on playing, please text or call me at the number on the right of the page. Thanks. -Ed

Next Sunday

I didn't get to update the blog here this past week to let everyone know we were not playing. Sorry about that but I think I got in touch with most everyone to let them know. We're Rolling Now!

It was good to be back on the court this past Sunday. So it looks like we are going to be back to playing every Sunday night at 7. The only thing that might derail our run this coming Sunday is the races at the speedway. If they get postponed until Sunday it may get crazy over there and we might need to cancel. I hope we'll be OK. Just stay in touch with me. -Ed

Taking a Break

Well, guys. We are going to be taking a break from basketball for about a month. I am going to be away and Charlie is going to be busy during September. We will try to resume playing on the last Sunday in September. If we don't get going then we will definitely start playing again in October. Check back here for details or contact me. -Ed

Sunday, August 19 we will be playing basketball at 5:30 p.m. I may not be available but Charlie is going to run things. If you can, please send me a text and let me know if you're going to play. We will try to play on the 26th but if not this Sunday will be our last week to play until September 30.

No Basketball This Week

Due to the "I Love Cabarrus" youth camp, we will not be playing basketball on Sunday, August 5. Hopefully, we will resume play on August 12. Stay tuned. -Ed

Unfortunately

Due to lack of response we are canceling this week's run (June 24). We hope to resume next week but PLEASE contact me if you interested in playing.

Ugh!

I was told today that the church needs the building next Monday night (June 25) for Vacation Bible School so we will not have use of the facility that night. We can play Sunday night (June 24) IF we can get enough guys to play. I know that with cancellations and various things it has been tough to know when/if we are playing and I apologize for that. It would help me tremendously if you would contact me and let me know if you can or would like to play (or simply let me know what's a good night for you!). A New Night

Ok, boys. We have made a change. We will now be playing basketball on MONDAY nights at 7:30 p.m. starting June 18. I hope that the change will not keep you from coming out to run with us. Please feel free to invite friends. We will probably be taking a bit of a hiatus from playing ball come September so come out and run with us as much as you can this summer. Some of our games lately have been great competition so let's keep it going. -Ed

Memorial Weekend Run

No Basketball Sunday May 13

We will not be playing ball this Sunday night (Mother's Day). We will resume playing next Sunday, May 20 at 8 p.m. Please pass the word on. And make sure you do something nice for your Mama, Grandmama, etc.

Wow!

We have been having great turnouts and great runs on Sunday nights. If you are going to play, please make sure that you get there by 8 so we can organize the teams a bit easier. Come run with us. It's a blast!

On hold

We are taking a little hiatus from playing on Sunday nights. This Sunday (April 1) there is a church function and the following Sunday (April 8) is Easter. We will resume playing on Sunday night April 15. See you then.

March Madness
