Happy New Year! Let's Play (January 3)

It's time for us to get back on the court and play some games. We will be playing basketball this Sunday, January 3 at 7:00 p.m. Come out and join us this week and every week that we lace 'em up and run.

Our "pick-up" basketball games were first started by Pastor Charlie Cole. They were a small gathering of a few youth and some other church members playing a little "cross court" basketball. Over time, the participation grew to where we set up and started playing full court. The weekly group size has varied greatly but there have been times when more than 20 people would show up to play. Some of our participants would drive from over an hour away to play, claiming that our games were some of the best around. Currently, the basketball program is on hiatus until someone can be found to organize and run it.
